The terms that apply when you use Gamz as a participant.

APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS
1.1
These Terms apply to your access to and use of the Gamz platform, including the Gamz Connect mobile app, websites and related services (the Service).
By creating an account, registering for a competition, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.2
If you are using the Service on behalf of another person (for example, registering a child or managing a team), you confirm that you are authorised to do so and agree to these Terms on their behalf.
1.3
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
ABOUT THE SERVICE
2.1
Gamz provides technology that allows players, parents, team managers and participants to:
Register for competitions
View fixtures, results and ladders
Receive updates and communications
Make payments where applicable
Manage teams and player profiles
2.2 Role of Competition Organisers
Competitions available through the Service are created and managed by independent competition organisers (for example clubs, venues, associations or schools).
We provide the technology platform only. We are not responsible for:
Competition rules or eligibility decisions
Team selections
Scheduling changes
Competition cancellations
Refund decisions (unless required by law)
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we do, we will notify you via the app, website or email.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes.
ACCOUNTS
4.1
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account or registering.
4.2
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4.3
We may suspend or restrict your access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or these Terms are breached.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree that you will not:
Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
Upload or share content that is abusive, defamatory, misleading or offensive
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security
Access or attempt to access data you are not authorised to access
Harass or harm other users
We may suspend or remove access if these rules are breached.
PAYMENTS
6.1
Some competitions or services may require payment.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
6.2
Fees, refund policies and payment terms are determined by the relevant competition organiser unless stated otherwise.
6.3
We are not responsible for organiser decisions relating to refunds, credits or cancellations, except where required by law.
DATA AND PRIVACY
7.1
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Platform Role
In most cases, we act as a service provider to the competition organiser, who controls how your information is used for the purposes of running the competition.
7.3
If you provide information about another person (for example registering a child or teammate), you confirm that you have their consent to do so.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights, title and interest in the Service, including software, branding and content, remain our property or that of our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or factors beyond our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis
Competition information is provided by organisers and may change
We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements
. LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment or loss arising from competition cancellations or scheduling changes.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service is limited to AUD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
You breach these Terms
Required by law
Directed by a competition organiser
Your account is inactive for an extended period
You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect
These Terms form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service
